What local SEO actually costs in Pakistan
Half the agencies in this market will not tell you what they charge until you are on a call with them. So we went and collected the ones that will.
Why this post exists
If you are a business owner in Pakistan trying to work out whether a quote is reasonable, there is almost nothing to compare it against. We audited twelve agencies selling local SEO and digital marketing across Lahore, Islamabad and the wider market. Six of them publish no pricing at all. One has a headline promising affordable rates and a pricing page that returns a 404.
That is not unusual and it is not always cynical. Scope varies enormously. But it leaves buyers with no reference point, which is bad for buyers and, in the long run, bad for everyone selling honestly.
The numbers
Across nine published monthly tiers from the agencies that do state prices:
The floor is the interesting figure. Two agencies arrived at roughly thirty thousand rupees a month independently, which suggests it is close to the real cost of delivering the work rather than a number somebody picked. Below that, something is being left out.
What the spread actually reflects
The gap between thirty thousand and a hundred and eighty thousand is not a gap in quality. It is a gap in scope. At the bottom you are typically buying profile management and a small amount of content. At the top you are buying a team, paid media management, and reporting built for somebody who has to present it upward.
The question to ask a quote is not whether the number is high. It is which of these you are being sold, and whether that matches what your business needs.
The freelance floor, and why it is not comparable
Pakistani freelancers offering Google Business Profile work on international platforms cluster around five to six dollars an hour. Basic gigs on Fiverr start at five dollars. That work is real and some of it is good, but it is priced by individuals with no overheads, no continuity, and no ability to be held to anything.
For a one-off task that is often exactly right. For an ongoing relationship where somebody needs to notice that your listing was edited by a stranger last Tuesday, it is not the same product.
What to ask before you sign anything
- What is the baseline? If nobody recorded your current calls and direction requests, nobody can prove an improvement later.
- Will you see a geogrid, or a single rank check? A single point is close to meaningless for local search.
- What is reported monthly? Calls, direction requests and website clicks are the honest metrics. Impressions are where agencies hide.
- Who owns the profile and the website when it ends? If the answer is not you, walk away.
- Is a ranking being guaranteed? If yes, that tells you what you need to know.
What we charge, and why it is lower
We start at PKR 10,000 a month. Most of our ongoing work sits between PKR 5,000 and PKR 30,000 depending on scope. Against the range above that is at or below the floor, and we would rather explain why than let you assume it means the work is worse.
We are in Sadiqabad, not Lahore. Our overheads are lower, and so are the budgets of the businesses we mostly work for — a shop, a clinic, a restaurant, a contractor. Thirty thousand rupees a month is not a rounding error to them, it is a decision. Pricing at the Lahore floor would mean serving almost nobody in our own city.
What it does mean is a smaller scope at the bottom of the range. For ten thousand rupees you are getting a Google Business Profile managed properly by people who do it every week — not a team, paid media management and a monthly presentation deck. When a business needs the larger version, the top of our range is roughly where the Lahore market begins, and at that point you are comparing like with like.
Our numbers are on this website rather than behind a phone call. If you are being quoted elsewhere, you now have a market range and at least one firm’s actual figures to hold it against.
Figures collected in August 2026 from publicly published price pages. Where an agency listed several tiers, each tier is counted once. Nothing here is attributed to a named competitor, because the point is the shape of the market rather than any one firm.
