Web applications

When a template cannot do the job and the thing has to be built.

Some problems are not websites. A stock system, an admin panel, a booking engine, an internal tool that replaces a spreadsheet three people are fighting over. These need to be designed around your data and the way your business actually runs.

We work in Node.js, React, TypeScript and PostgreSQL. We write the specification before we write the code, because the expensive mistakes in software are all made in the first week.

What is included

Requirements and scope
Written down, agreed, and priced before anyone opens an editor.
Data model
Designed for the questions you will need to ask of it in two years.
API design and documentation
Endpoints, authentication, transaction states and every way it can fail.
Admin panel
So your staff can run it without a developer on call.
Roles and permissions
Different people see different things. Decided deliberately, not by accident.
Deployment and handover
Running, documented, and yours.

What it costs

Ongoing work starts at PKR 10,000 a month. Most engagements sit between PKR 5,000 and PKR 30,000 depending on scope, and smaller one-off jobs start at PKR 5,000.

We scope before we quote and the first phase is a fixed price, so if it is not working, stopping is cheap. See how that compares with the rest of the market →

What we will not do

We will not start a build with no defined scope and work it out as we go. That is how projects double in price and everybody ends up unhappy.

Questions

Do we own the code?

Yes. It is written for you, handed to you, and you can take it to another developer whenever you like. We would rather you stayed because the work is good.

Can you take over an application somebody else started?

Usually. We read the code first and give you an honest assessment, including the case for rewriting it if that is genuinely cheaper than continuing.

What does the specification actually get us?

A document that says what the software does, what it does not do, and what happens in every failure case. It is the difference between a fixed price and an open-ended bill.

Other things we do

Want this done properly?

Tell us what the business is and where it is. We will tell you what it takes.
